5. Serializing and Registering Portfolio Server

You will need to serialize the Portfolio 5.0.1 Server via the
Client "Server Administration" dialog.

6. Software Technical Notes

For Windows Only:

-After installing the Portfolio Server 5.0.1 application, you will
have to start the NT Service.  To do so, go to your system's
'Services' control panel, select the "Portfolio Server"  service
and click Start.

-If you had trouble installing the Portfolio Server 5.0.1 NT
Service you can manually install and uninstall the service by
following the instructions below:

    To install  - Go to a command prompt and enter "C:[path to the
    program group]\portfolio server.exe"-i
    To uninstall - Go to a command prompt and enter "C:[path to the
    program group]\portfolio server.exe"-u

Using the Uninstall utility: (Windows Only)
Stop the Portfolio Service from running on your system, then go to
Add/Remove programs option in the control panel, select Portfolio
5.0 Server and run the uninstall operation.
