(F) TECHNICAL NOTES FOR PORTFOLIO SQL CONNECT _____________________________________________________________ DBA Tool: The DBATool fails with the following error when converting the SQL schema from version 6 to version 7: "Cannot rename the table because it is published for replication". There are two ways to work around this problem: 1. Use SQL Server Enterprise Manager to delete the publication(s) that include the Portfolio tables or 2. Export all tables and data from the production database into a newly created empty database. Then perform the DBATool conversion on this new database. SQL Connect: When switching a served SQL catalog from level based security to user based security, the Portfolio Server must be restarted before any users can connect to the database as an Administrator.
